How to wirelessly connect to Solstice Pod

when on, the Solstice Pad will display a similar screen with room’s name (i.e. BOARD Room)

on APPLE Device:

Apple Devices can connect to Solstice Pad through AirPlay

1. Ensure your computer is connected to the “ISU” wifi (works best) or the room’s wifi (i.e. “BOARD Room” wifi)

2. Turn on Airplay and select corresponding display name on dropdown menu (on Macbooks the Airplay logo is found on the top edge of screen)

3. Airplay will request a password to connect to Solstice, enter Screen Key as it appears on screen. (Code will change every use)

4. Enjoy!

on Other Computers:

Accessing Solstice Pad from other computer will first require quickly downloading the Solstice App. If your computer already has this app, proceed to step 4.

1. Ensure your computer is connected to the “ISU” wifi (works best) or the room’s wifi (i.e. “BOARD Room” wifi)

2. Open a web browser and enter into your computer the “http://” URL seen the top right of the Solstice Screen. Enter URL corresponding with your network (for ISU wifi, see INTERNAL)

3. This URL will take you to the Solstice Website. Click the “Get the App & Join” option center-screen, and proceed to download the app.

4. Once Solstice is downloaded on your computer, open the app. This will prompt you to enter your name, and then allow you to select nearby solstice devices.

5. Select the appropriate device (I.E. BOARD Room) from the list, and enter the Screen Key when prompted to do so.

6. You are Connected!

Once wirelessly connected to the projector, you have the three options:

• Desktop (will mirror your computer screen)

• App Window (will mirror only a Window you select (Chrome, PPT, etc))

• Media File (will only display a media file you select)
